I spent the morning today randomly wandering around the Mission, and noticed a
few interesting things. Firstly, there's an EFF
office on Shotwell about a half mile from my house. Turns out it's the main
office, which fills my heart with joy, because no one fights evil
harder smarter than the EFF.

Second, I'm sure you're all familiar with those fake buildings fire fighters use
for training. Station 7 has a really nice fake building. Moreover, it's
a building I wouldn't mind living in (except for it being filled with smoke a
couple of times a week). Of coures I also saw dozens of murals. Strangely
enough, there was a huge and beautiful mural on the side of Foods Co, a company
that I usually don't associate with character. The fire department's
phoenix mural gets runner-up for general aesthetic.
