Update, 2005.10.23 - converted crawled to Python (instead of Perl) and added multi-threading. Crawling now happens almost five times faster than before; you should now notice about 10000 new movies per day. Crawl state is now held entirely in RAM. Thanks to Eric Snow for the extra memory. |
